01. Is Eloping Right For Me?
If you've found your way here, chances are, it is – or a micro-wedding which blends the idea of an elopement with a bigger guest list to include your closest friends & family. The beauty of choosing an elopement lies in the freedom to make it entirely your own.
Imagine your wedding day like this:
Having a relaxing morning, enjoying the scenery together, taking your time to get ready because you're on your own schedule.
Hiking or driving to the most beautiful location you can imagine to exchange vows surrounded by nature.
Watching the sunset together and checking off bucket list spots you've been dying to travel to.
If you're thinking "this sounds so good!", then eloping is right for you!

02. Pick a Date & Location
To reserve your date, all I'll need is a date and general location area such as the state, region or national park you want to elope in.
I’ll then send over a contract and invoice for a non-refundable retainer payment, equal to 50% of your package. The remainder will be due two weeks prior to your elopement.

03. Creating a Timeline
Once your date is set I'll help pick an exact ceremony location and craft a timeline for your day.
Drawing upon my experience in outdoor location scouting, coupled with the power of Google Earth Pro and thorough research, I'll present a few timeline and location options for you, taking into account the best time of day for lighting at each spot, how much (or little) hiking you would like to do, and more. My particular passion lies in guiding couples to off-the-beaten-path secluded spots. Together, we'll create an unforgettable and truly memorable experience for you both.

04. Send Vendor & Activity Recommendations
Discovering the perfect vendors and activities to complement your elopement experience is a crucial part of crafting your dream day. I'll share my recs for local vendors and exciting activities tailored to your preferences and vision. Whether you're seeking a skilled florist, a hair & makeup artist, a romantic vacation rental for your trip or adventurous excursions to enhance your elopement journey, I'm here to provide personalized recommendations that align with your unique style and desires.

05. Logistics
From travel arrangements to accommodation and beyond, there are many logistics to consider when planning your elopement. I'll give you practical advice and resources to ensure that every detail is taken care of, allowing you to focus on what truly matters – celebrating your love in a meaningful and stress-free way.

06. Saying "I Do"
The best part! You have the best day of your life, exchange vows with the one you love somewhere epic and have an unforgettable adventure! I'll be right there alongside you to ensure you have the memories documented for a lifetime, from the moment you say "I do" to every exhilarating and intimate moment throughout the day.
48 hours after your elopement you'll receive a sneak peak digital gallery with some of the best highlight moments. You'll receive your full gallery 4-6 weeks thereafter to relive your day! From there, you can view, download, print, and share your cherished memories effortlessly.
What if we feel uncomfortable in front of the camera?
Being in front of the camera always feel a bit uncomfortable at first, but don’t worry—it's completely normal, I feel the same way! My goal is to create a relaxed and enjoyable atmosphere, so you can feel comfortable and be yourselves.
I'll guide you with natural prompts and candid moments rather than stiff poses, allowing your genuine connection to shine through. By the end of our time together, you might even forget the camera is there, resulting in authentic, beautiful photos that capture the essence of your relationship.
What if there's bad weather?
If there's rain, snow, or fog, we can embrace the unique beauty these elements bring to your photos, often creating a magical and dramatic atmosphere.
However, if the weather is severe and poses safety concerns, we can be flexible with our schedule and adjust the timing or location of your elopement.
In addition to embracing the unique beauty that bad weather can bring to your photos, I always come prepared with backup locations in case of inclement weather.
Furthermore, to provide extra peace of mind, I reserve both the day before and after your elopement date. This allows us flexibility to adjust our plans if needed, ensuring that your special day unfolds smoothly regardless of the weather conditions.
Rest assured, we'll work together to ensure your day is as perfect and stress-free as possible, no matter what the weather brings.
What if we're not experienced hikers or adventurers?
No worries! I curate locations that match your comfort level. Whether you're avid adventurers or seeking a more relaxed setting, I tailor the experience to suit you. There are plenty of stunning spots that are easy to reach, so don’t worry about missing out on good photo spots if going on a big hike is not your thing.
What if we want something more extreme for our elopement?
Thrilled by the idea! I specialize in capturing adventurous elopements. Your elopement can be as extreme as your imagination allows. Whether it's an overnight hike, exploring a remote wilderness, or any unique idea you have in mind, let's discuss your vision, and we'll make it a reality.
Are the travel expenses included in your packages or covered additionally?
Travel expenses are included for all packages within California & Oregon.
Additional travel fees may apply for other states or international elopements.
Can you help with location permits and logistics?
Absolutely. I guide you through the permit process and handle logistics to ensure a seamless adventure elopement experience.
Do we hike in our wedding attire?
Whether or not you hike in your wedding attire is entirely up to you and what feels most comfortable and enjoyable for your elopement experience. Some couples love the idea of hiking in their wedding clothes for the unique and adventurous photos it provides. Others prefer to change into their attire once they've reached their ceremony location to keep everything pristine. Whatever you choose, we'll make sure it fits seamlessly into your elopement adventure.
Do we need a wedding officiant for our elopement and what if we legally don’t get married on our elopement day?
The simple answer is, it varies from state to state and country to country whether you need an officiant for your marriage to be legally recognized.
In the state of California you have the option for self-solemnizing your elopement, but there are some hoops you have to jump through. This means that you and your partner can officiate your own ceremony without the need for an external officiant.
For most other states, you will need an officiant to make it official.
One option is to have a friend or family member get ordained to officiate your marriage.
I can also recommend experienced officiants who specialize in intimate ceremonies, ensuring your vows are officiated with the same care as the rest of your celebration.
That said, many couples who choose to elope prefer to avoid dealing with paperwork on their elopement day. Instead, they craft their ceremonies exactly as they envision, often without an officiant or witnesses, and save the legalities for another time.
Your elopement day – the day you exchange vows, commit your lives to each other, have an adventure and become partners forever – doesn't necessarily have to include the legal formalities of getting married.
My personal belief, is your wedding day is the day you say your vows to your partner, not necessarily the day you sign your marriage license, so if you'd prefer to have your elopement be just the two of you and deal with the paperwork on another day – I fully support going that route!
How long does it take to recieve the photos after the elopement and how will those be delivered?
I understand the excitement of reliving those moments! You'll get sneak peeks in 48 hours, with a few highlights from the day. A full gallery will follow 4-6 weeks after to ensure the highest quality.
Your photos will be accessible through a private digital gallery link. From there, you can download the high-resolution images, order prints and easily share your photos with friends and family.
DO YOU KEEP A BACKUP OF ALL OF OUR PHOTOS?
I do! I have every wedding or other session that I have ever shot backed up in multiple locations. This insures that if you ever lose your copy I can get a new one out to you right away. That said, I also encourage you to do the same and backup your photos in multiple locations.
How many photos do you return?
Typically, I deliver an average of 50-75 carefully curated images per hour of shooting.
This number varies slightly as I meticulously edit and deliver all the best photos, ensuring that each one meets my high standards of quality. You can expect to receive a collection of images that are free from duplicates, blurriness, or any other elements that may detract from their beauty or significance.
What equipment do you use?
I shoot on Canon cameras and have a set of lenses for every situation.
My full list of gear:
2x Canon R5
24mm 1.4L
35mm F1.8
85mm F1.4
